GURKHAS
Firstly we were told that Gurkhas couldn't be helped, then we had the fiasco of a lousy Bill that did not really help the Gurkhas and in which the Labour Govt lost the vote. Shamefully Chris Ruane MP voted with the Govt and against the campaign for the Gurkhas.

We are in a situation where the left hand of this Government doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The Prime Minister has got to get a grip on this issue, and recognise that public opinion has spoken, Parliamentary opinion has spoken. This issue needs to be sorted out right now.
